When My Heart Lagged in Derawan Islands

Oh, March 2013 will soon be over. I haven't talked about my trip this month yet.

So, here the story goes...

Earlier this month, precisely on March 9 to 12, I returned to the island of Borneo. If in previous years I always visited West Kalimantan, so this time I visited East Kalimantan. I went to one of the most beautiful places in Indonesia and even in the world. Yes, the place was named Derawan Islands.

I went there with my sister and a best-friend, Warih Suciningtyas and Annisa Jihan Andari. We flew from Jakarta to Tarakan, then continued using a speedboat for almost 4 hours to Derawan Islands. We went with some other traveler from Surabaya and Jakarta. Sponsored by wisatakita.com.

Well, without a lot of words, allow me to present some photographs the other side of heaven on earth. These pictures could speak a thousand words. Enjoy! :)

Where everything is crystal clear, with no stains.
The sky and the sea, a perfect combination.

Yes, a tiny island where you can escape for a moment.
Halcyon!

The dock that connects you to the open sea.

When speedboats racing each other to flirt with the palm trees.

Well, that was the magic on the land, over the sea. How about under the sea?? Fabulous! God is great with all His creation. Subhanallah. :)

School of fish.
Coral reefs has always been the perfect place for their adventure.

The Clown Fish and The Sea Anemone. A perfect match.

Say hello to Spongebob's chum! Hello, Patrick! ;)

An orange pine under the sea.

The gangs of black with the thick orange stripe.

"Hey man, you're disturbing my break time. Huh!"
He's got angry and then passed. Bye, old turtle!

When the blue, the yellow, the black and the stripes held a social gathering.

The yellow are now friends with the zebra.

A gang of blue cuties.

 A big coral table.

Here's colorful coral reef.

A group of sea plants.

And no less superb from all of them, at this trip I swam with the sting-less jellyfish. This type of jellyfish which only exist in two places in the world, namely in the Palau Islands, U.S. states, and Derawan Islands, Indonesia! Precisely, on the lake in the middle of Kakaban. Here are few sightings under the lake of Kakaban. All of the pictures are courtesy of trip organizers.

A cute one. Seems like glowing in the water.

The Family.

Go, fish! Let's catch the jellyfish.

Hmmm.... I had such a lovely time! See you again, Derawan! Thank you for the great holiday. :)
